Relatively quiet, helpful staff, punctual room service, great location , good value. Spacious, clean double room with ensuite and shared kitchen. Excellent location near metro and 6 mins walk to Vatican. Good communication with owner, very good value for money. Location was excellent, 3 mins walk to Vatican. We had ensuite and minimal noise. One of the best places we've stayed, made our anniversary extra special.

Alice Jin, the proprietor of Julius Caesar, is absoluely wonderful. She is friendly, helpful and goes out of her way completely to make your stay comfortable. Her b&b is immaculate and is located within a ten minute walk of Vatican City. The Ottoviano metro station is literally steps away. I would recommend Julius Caesar b&b to absolutely anyone who is visiting Rome. Jo van Doorn Ottawa, Ontario Canada
There was nothing that I did not like about Julius Caesar b&B. I would rather stay there than the Hassler Hotel! Jo

Staff very helpful. The location is really convenient. The B&B has 4 rooms as part of an older normal apartament. The breakfast is self-catering and each rooms has a shelf on the fridge if you wish to put your particular things. Rome is a very nice city, full of things to do.

Great location, near metro and Vatican. Lovely fresh croissants for breakfast. Daily room cleaning. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet room, comfortable beds.
All was perfect.

The place was clean
This is more a small shared apartment than a B&B. Poor breakfast, noisy roomates, no space to sit down, bad bedding and overall poor managment. Almost no service at all and the manager of the B&B was very late when we wanted to check-in and waited for 20 min in the corridor. Far away from the center and very expensive for the value of the place.

Location, location, location! The B&B is a converted apartment in a building about 20 steps away from the Ottaviano metro. The hostess, Alice, was wonderful and welcomed us as if it was her own home. She showed us our room, the apartment amenities and explained the use of the common kitchen. After Alice gave us a plethora of advice on things to see and do in the city, we were left to come and go as we pleased. The B&B couldn't be in a better location just 3 blocks from St. Peter's square and surrounded by great shops and restaurants.
Being a converted apartment with thin walls, the pleasantness of our stay was dictated by the consideration of other guests at the B&B. Unfortunately, our B&B guest mates for the first two nights were a very loud group who considered the place their personal domain. Once they departed, the remainder of our stay was perfectly pleasant.

For our stay in Rome, our main purpose was to visit the Vatican, and Julius Caesar 183 was perfectly suited for that. The hotel is conveniently located just steps away from Ottaviano metro entrance, surrounded by bars and eateries. We were warmly greeted by the friendly and helpful staff, who even waited for us at the front door. Our room was clean and spacious, with a lovely verandah and access to a small kitchen. The high ceilings added to the charm. The breakfast, delivered to our room, was of excellent quality and a great way to start the day. We will definitely stay here again!
Can recommend this hotel.

The owner , Alice Jin is very accomodating and gracious . She is very detailed and hands-on in managing her business and makes sure that the guest is very well taken care of. and would feel comfortable during the stay. Condo unit is well kept and clean. It is just few steps away from the metro station and the Vatican City. For those travellers who are on a budget and are not expecting too much, this place is right for you.
Self service breakfast needs to be improved a bit . There arent much of choices. Perhaps you can inform the guest beforehand some info on what they want to have or expect for breakfast. In future, you may want to consider providing a storage compartment for the luggages after checking out for travellers who are leaving Rome later in the afternoon or evening. Overall , we had a great stay in B&B Julius Ceasar and memorable experience in Rome. Thanks a lot for the warm hospitality , Alice and see you in Dubai soon.

Alice is very helpful hostess. Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Access to kitchen if want to prepare own snacks. Sharing bathroom with only one other room so is fine. Nice selection of breakfast items. Great location - few steps from underground stop and few mins walk from Vatican.

The spacious and clean room provided more than enough space for all of us. The friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options that satisfied the taste buds of both our kids and us. Additionally, the stable and fast wifi was a great convenience, especially when our children wanted to catch up on their favorite shows. The hotel's prime location, just 10 meters from the metro, allowed us to easily explore the city and visit all the famous landmarks. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Julius Caesar 183.
For families with children, it would be great if the hotel could provide more child-friendly facilities, such as a small playground or kid's corner. My children wanted a dedicated space where they could have fun and interact with other kids.
